1. About us
Pal Cars ("Pal Cars", "we", "us") is a motor vehicle import concierge and sales service operated by „Пал Карс“ ООД ("Pal Cars" Ltd.), registered in Bulgaria under company number (ЕИК) 208899416, with registered address at 21 Kamen Andreev St., bl. 21, ent. 1, fl. 2, ap. 6, 1303 Sofia, Vazrazhdane district, Bulgaria. 2. Definitions
"Client" means any person submitting an enquiry or engaging our services. "Vehicle" means any motor vehicle we source, inspect, sell or import. "Services" means the sourcing, inspection, purchase facilitation, logistics and import support services described below. "Available Vehicles" means vehicles we already hold or have available for direct purchase, shown in the listings on our site.
3. Our services
We help Clients locate, evaluate and import vehicles from the European Union and beyond to Bulgaria. Depending on the agreed scope, this may include sourcing candidate vehicles, arranging inspections, facilitating purchase, organising transport, and supporting the import and registration process. In addition to bespoke import on request, we may also offer Available Vehicles for direct purchase. For bespoke imports we generally act as the Client’s agent, sourcing and importing the vehicle on the Client’s behalf. For Available Vehicles we act as the seller. The role that applies to a given transaction is set out in the individual contract.
4. Enquiries and quotes
Submitting the request form does not create a contract. We reply with proposed next steps and a quote. A binding agreement is formed only once you approve a written quote and we confirm acceptance. All prices and deposits are stated in euro (EUR). Quotes are valid for 5 business days and may change if market prices, availability, taxes or exchange rates change. When we present a sourced vehicle that matches your brief, you have 5 business days to confirm before the hold is released.
5. Available Vehicles
(1) Vehicles shown as available on our site are an invitation to enquire, not a binding offer. Availability, price and specification may change until a vehicle is reserved and confirmed in writing.
(2) We make reasonable efforts to keep listings, photos, videos, mileage and specifications accurate, but minor errors may occur and details should be confirmed before purchase.
(3) To engage our services we take an engagement deposit. This is what allows us to begin sourcing the vehicle, or, for an Available Vehicle already in stock, secures it for you. The deposit is set by vehicle budget and is credited toward the final price:

The engagement deposit is refundable only if we cannot source a vehicle matching the agreed specification, or if the Client cancels within 72 hours of signing the contract. Otherwise it is non-refundable, as it covers the work of searching for and sourcing the vehicle.
(4) Available Vehicles are generally used and are sold in their existing condition, subject to any checks or work expressly stated in writing. Photos and videos form part of the description.
(5) Ownership passes to the Client upon receipt of full payment. Risk passes on collection or delivery, whichever comes first.
(6) Where the Client is a consumer, statutory rights regarding the conformity of used goods under Bulgarian and EU law apply and are not excluded by these terms.
(7) Vehicles are sold without an additional commercial warranty beyond the statutory consumer rights that apply by law. On request we can assist the Client in arranging insurance.
6. Vehicle sourcing and condition
Vehicles are typically used and sold in their existing condition. We take reasonable care in inspection and reporting, but we act as an intermediary and do not manufacture or guarantee the vehicles. Information from third party sellers (mileage, history, specification) is passed on in good faith but cannot be warranted by us beyond the checks expressly agreed in your quote.
7. Import duties, taxes and registration
Estimates of import duties, taxes and registration costs are provided for guidance only. Final amounts are set by the relevant authorities. Unless expressly agreed otherwise, the Client is responsible for all duties, taxes and registration fees payable in Bulgaria. Whether Bulgarian VAT is due on a vehicle depends on its status under EU VAT rules (for example whether it qualifies as a new means of transport, that is first registered within the last 6 months or with under 6,000 km) and is confirmed for each vehicle in the individual quote.
8. Delivery and timelines
Any timeframe we give is a good faith estimate, not a guarantee. We are not liable for delays caused by third parties (sellers, transporters, authorities) or events outside our reasonable control.
9. Cancellation and refunds
Deposits are refundable only if we cannot source a vehicle matching the agreed specification, or if the Client cancels within 72 hours of signing the contract. Otherwise deposits are non-refundable. Deposits are credited toward the final price. Statutory consumer rights, where they apply, are unaffected by this section.
10. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the Services is limited to the service fee paid to us for the relevant engagement. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Privacy
We process personal data in line with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Bulgarian data protection law. The controller is „Пал Карс“ ООД. The full information — what data we collect, on what basis, how long we keep it, which providers have access and what rights you have — is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these terms. Our use of cookies is described in the Cookie Policy.
12. Intellectual property
The Pal Cars name, logo, site content and design are owned by us and may not be copied or reused without permission.
13. Relationship to individual contracts
Specific terms for each transaction, including price, deposit, timelines and vehicle details, are set out in the individual written agreement signed by both parties. In case of any conflict, the signed agreement prevails over these general terms for that transaction.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Bulgaria, and the Bulgarian courts have jurisdiction.
15. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this site at the time of your enquiry applies to that engagement.
